Vloggi is a video messaging platform that makes it very easy for businesses or any organization to collect video messages at large scale. They allow them to catalogue, categorize then combine the videos to be used for the future. According to Founder and CEO Justin Wastnage in the next five years 75% of all business communication will be video messages and the biggest issue that comes with that statistic is the automation of video production, something that Vloggi is solving through their services.

Founded in 2018, Vloggi has been weaving its way through the startup ecosystem facing all their challenges head on. Being a relatively new company that is currently seeking investors for their seed round, Vloggi has big plans to expand their team and operations in the upcoming year. Currently being used in multiple countries, some of their most notable customers include Fishburners, the UK Parliament, JAX Tyres and MYOB.

“Companies that use Vloggi can create a video library of clips very easily and then combine them without having to pay a video editor; They can also go a step further and actually automate that video production flow”.

Video production is generally a linear process that starts with storyboarding, filming and then editing. It can often be a costly expense. With Vloggi, businesses are given a quicker, cheaper and more convenient alternative to traditional video production. They have a large inflow of footage coming in which is analyzed, sorted, cleaned up, and standardized. These can then be used for anything from 20-second Instagram posts to 4-minute video messages and more.

“You can mix and match the videos however you want and our system takes care of all of the editing and formatting”

A unique selling point of the company and it’s product is that they have a feature called equal standardization. This essentially means that people can upload their video clips in any orientation, any resolution, or any format, and their system packages them in order to make it consistent. This feature saves hundreds of dollars in man hours put into editing each video one by one to be uniform.

Something Vloggi is looking to achieve as they grow is bringing in more diversity to their team. They already have a relatively global team with employees working remotely from several corners of the world, and they hope to bring in more after their raise. With a diverse group of people you’re exposed to more culture and new ways of thinking, it’s something that is often overlooked but will be highly beneficial in the long run.

“It's more challenging to have people from different backgrounds, but ultimately it's more rewarding because people come with different perspectives and different outlooks. You get fresher perspectives, you just become more open-minded. It's like a very natural thing that happens.”

With many more plans on the horizon, Vloggi is in search for investors for their seed round. They’re looking at raising AUD $1,000,000.
